To restore the previous layer state, I'll select layer Layer Unisolate, and all the layers that were turned off by the Layer Isolate command are turned back on. All the other layers have been turned off. ![]() I'm going to start the Layer Isolate command here, and I'm going to choose a wall and a door object and then press return. ![]() If you have a drawing with a lot of layers, and I regularly see architectural drawings with a hundred layers or more, turning off layers individually can be a very tedious exercise, especially if you only want to work with a handful of those one hundred layers. ![]() We've seen how to manually select objects and turn their layers off using the Layoff tool, but what about the reverse? Another tool in a similar vain, and one that I find incredibly useful is the Layer Isolate command.
